I’ve teamed up with the lovely Maria today, who blogs over at Rusty Hinge. (By the way, you should really check out her blog- her home is gorgeous!)

Maria’s sister, Alexandra, is moving to Tanzania in Africa. As a Special Education teacher, Alexandra will help develop Special Education programs in village schools where there are presently none.

Alexandra will be leaving her job in August to move to Tanzania and work as a volunteer there- she won’t be paid for helping with the Special Education programs. So until her move, she is trying to save money and raise lots of funds.
What can you do to help? Well, Alexandra and Maria are putting together a cookbook that, once all the recipes are compiled, will be sold in Maria’s online shop, to raise funds for Alexandra. So I’m asking you to take just a few minutes to join me in contributing a recipe to their cookbook (The Mountains be Moved Cookbook)- they need lots! Your name will also be listed under the list of contributors.
Maria is also hosting a giveaway to thank everyone who contributes. Learn more HERE.
So how do you add your recipe? Just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to cookbookfundraiser.com
2. See where it says “Cookbook Login”?,
a.) Under contributor, type in your name
b.) Under email address, type in your email address
c.) Under group login, type matthewseventeentwenty
d.) Under password, type goodfood
3. Next, just click Add New Recipe, and the rest is very self-explanatory.
I know both of these ladies would greatly appreciate your contribution!
Thank you so very much for blogging about our cookbook project, Jillian! I literally have tears in my eyes over your kindness!
Oh absolutely no problem, Maria! I hope you get some more recipes as a result!
Let me know if there’s anything more I can do- really!
This is such a cool idea!! I’m making a note to look through my recipes and I’ll add one or a few.
Thank you so much for your support!!! I am extremely excited to see where this adventure will take me. I just pray that even if one student who would not normally be able to receive an education is able to start! That would make it all worth it!
Thank YOU for your faithfulness, Alexandra! I’ll be praying for you as you begin this new season of your life!
Hey, Jillian, I added my Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake Bars to your cookbook. Hope they enjoy!
Thanks so much, Teresa! If you leave a comment over at Rusty Hinge about what you submitted, you’ll be entered in a giveaway that Maria is hosting!
These look delicious!
